Dempster has that, "Please score more runs" look in his eyes.
"You may run like Mayes but you hit like shit."

Man, just sucks seeing Marshall in a Reds jersey. I miss him in Cubbie blue. Such a great 7 or 8 inning guy.

Is Dempster glaring toward Marmol in the pen?

I don't wanna speak too soon, but it's possible that we have two successful Marmol outings in a role. I say if he walks one batter yank him instantly.

Great at bat by Mather. Really actually liking the decision to keep him on the team. He is really proving his worth as a great bench guy and pinch hitter. Reminds me of Jason Werth a lot.

I'd like to see Mather get into the lineup every now and then. He's been good off the bench and hat a phenomenal spring!

For some reason Joe Mather just looks like a Cardinal to me... and thats the only explanation as to why he sees the field so little

Pat Hughes, on the Cubs going into the bottom of the 9th with a 3-run lead: "Fasten those seat belts!"

Hahaha (nervous laugh)

I love Mather as a bench guy. He's so useful as he can play like every position. He's a fantastic pinch hitter too. Would like to see him get at least 2 starts a week.
