I’m headed to Wrigley Field on Thursday, April 12 to see the Cubs take on the Brewers, and, thanks to MasterCard, I’ve got two sets of two tickets to give out so folks can join me at the game.
Like I mentioned last week, I recently “pledged” to shave my head if the Cubs sweep the Cardinals in April (six games) as part of a MasterCard campaign to get Cubs fans to pledge their loyalty in a variety of creative ways.
Now you can make a pledge, too, and win some tickets in the process. Here’s how:
Check out The Cubs Pledge tab on MasterCard’s Facebook page, where you can show how far you’d go to support your favorite team.
Once you’ve made your Cubs pledge on that page, post your pledge in the comments below or Tweet it to me (@Bleachernation) using the hash tag #CubsPledge, and I’ll pick the most creative two to win a free pair of tickets to attend the Cubs vs. Brewers game at Wrigley Field on Thursday, April 12. Keep in mind, if you win, you better be prepared to live up to your pledge (and you gotta then share it with us, because that’s the fun).
The deadline is Wednesday, April 4 at 9pm CT (10pm ET), so get moving. Make sure that, if you leave a comment with your pledge, you use an email address at which I can contact you to get your address should you win. If you send me the pledge on Twitter, make sure you’re reachable via direct message for the same reason.
(A reminder about that game: even if you can’t make the game, John Arguello from Cubs Den and I will be hanging at a Wrigleyville bar before the game (perhaps after, as well). So, even if you aren’t at the game, you can still make a great day of it.)
