Is it weird that I'm kind of perversely glad Garza is missing a start so we get to see what Travis Wood looks like right now?

Of course, if he did have a game like that, we'd most likely end up losing in extras...
I'm going to be taking my family to the San Jose Giants (SF's single-A team) game this afternoon. We'll be joined by two recently immigrated British families who claim to be really excited to learn about baseball. This is either going to be maddening or tremendously fun. We'll see. I've never been to a minor league game before.

So long as the Ricketts Family has a massive stake in Comcast Sportsnet Chicago, it's going to have a stranglehold on Cubs broadcasting.I love you WGN, and pray everyday for the colllapse of the Comcast monopoly on my Chicago sports.
