I think its as he said before the season. He needed to be placed at starter and left there. The switching between starting and relieving was probably messing with his game. Glad to have him in our 3 slot where I think he has shown he adequately belongs. If only we can find a solid 5 slot guy or a 4 slot and push maholm to 5. I think Maholm is fine at 4 but would like to see him pitch like he has his last 2 outings more often.

Every time Barney swings at the first pitch, he should be slapped with a trout.

If only we could push Volstad in front of a train

This game is just clicking along pretty fast. I guess that's what happens with all runs are solo shots.

It honestly pisses me off. Lahair wants to do that every now and then? Fine...but not Barney.

Sadly we won't get a decent 4 or 5 without loosing our # 2.

But we might get a 4 & a 5, plus future possibilities...

If your name is Geovany Soto, you can consider yourself dead to me.

Not saying this year but maybe next or something. I'd rather keep Garza and I think he should be our #1 but understand it being left in the hands of Demp since he has been with the club far longer and is still really good as well. I am a big fan of Garza and unless someone is giving us the world and the moon I dont wanna see him go.

If Clevenger and Castillo were both healthy I would have no problem trading Soto for a bucket of pretty good hot wings. As long as there was celery and blue cheese, too--no way I make a deal with that.
