Thank GOD. Son of a bitch...that was ridiculous.

Marmol, if he HAS to be on this team, should ONLY come in when the game is SO FAR out of reach that no one gives a shit if he walks the entire team. Damn...that sucked.

I would have felt good about that in 2009, but that tightrope bullshit has gotten old (mostly bc he keeps falling off).

I don't care if he gets out of this inning... he is showing why he should not be pitching.

Exactly right

2 K's! did we somehow ninja Dolis in wearing a Marmol jersey for the last 2 batters?

We better have not. We need him in the 9th and everyone but Sveum knows he can only go an inning.

Ya know what's shitty? After the game, they'll praise him for getting out of the inning without giving up any runs and striking out two, regardless of the fact that he clearly SUCKS and got lucky more than anything. It's almost like you WANT him to keep failing, just so there's NO thoughts of him being a usable piece of this ball club.

Very lucky! Great positioning on Freeman. He needs to build off the last two batters. But Svuem cannot put him in the position he put him in tonight. Let him work his way back.

I want to hear a bullet in the next couple days that reads something like this:

"Marmol was shot today leaving Wrigley Monday night. He was reportedly shot in the face and then stabbed repeatedly. Only one word can describe the event, relieving."

Can you do that Brett?

Sveum said Dolis wasn't available for tonight. I would bet we see Russell.

Looks like Russell in the 9th, and I'm ok with that.

No need to kill him, just tear ligaments in his right shoulder, forearm and wrists.
