Guillermo Mota suspension appeal. Does anyone buy this?

"In a statement issued through Adam Katz, Mota's agent, the right-hander claims that children's cough medicine was responsible for the banned substance (clenbuterol) that was found in his system." From MLBTR
So, I'm just wondering, does anyone buy this? I don't know about you, but I don't know any adult who takes children's cough medicine, and I can't think of any reason why you would. A cocktail perhaps? Is there some recipe for a Flaming Homer out there that I don't know about?

And I have also heard of people using it to get high.
And I believe I have even, on rare occasions, heard of people using it to treat coughs in children. There's no telling what crazy things some people will do.

And, no. I don't buy it. At least not as an accident.

This is the first thing I thought of lol. http://en.wikipedia....ki/Purple_drank But, I don't think Children's cough syrup has codeine in it.Purple Drank
No, seriously, there's a lot of people out there for whom cough syrup is their drug of choice. Jamarcus Russel had trouble with the law over it. I think its plausible
