[Brett: In addition to Luke’s excellent Minor League Daily, you can also follow the Chicago Cubs’ Minor League teams online in a variety of ways. BN’er TWC put together a helpful how-to on the Message Board, and I thought it would sharing here. From TWC:]
If you’re interested in following the Cubs’ Minor League affiliates’ games, I’ve compiled a bit of a how-to list below. While Luke’s Minor League Roundup is great, nothing beats listening/watching live. I’ve tried to include all of the iPhone apps as well. Sorry Android users – you’re dead to me.
The MiLB app blows. It’s $5 to watch the Gameday/pitch-by-pitch info that you get for free on the web, there’s no audio, and it covers only the AAA teams. I don’t get it. It doesn’t integrate with an MiLB.tv account, either. Plus, it was free last year. Lame.
Speaking of MiLB.tv, that’s one obvious way to follow the Cubs’ Minor League teams (primarily Iowa, Tennessee, and Boise). Other ways:
AAA –Â Iowa Cubs
AA –Â Tennessee Smokies
A+ –Â Daytona Cubs
A –Â Peoria Chiefs
A– –Â Boise Hawks
Now go get your prospectin’ on!
[This reminds me: are you participating on the Message Board? You should be. There’s great content like this there every day. And, of course, additional ridiculousness. I mean that in a good way.]
