wow...I knew they were connected...if you read enough...and I have read countless baseball books...Zimmer was considered one of the dumbest guys in baseball...dating back to his days with the 75 Red Sox...that these two prevailed over Dallas Green to run the Cubs is what lead to our horrible 1990's....you know, as opposed to all of our other fine, fine decades

Listen now, don't try and ruin my thoughts on Zimmer. He was the manager when I first really started to follow the cubs and for that I will always think of him fondly.

I always thought fondly of him too, until he put on the Yankee pinstripes. Then I laughed when he got tossed around by Pedro.
