I'd have taken my chances as opposed to Castro being out by a country mile.I don't think LaHair would have gotten anything to hit with a runner on third and two outs.
With anyone but LaHair coming up to bat, I MIGHT agree.I think that was a good send. Castro made a mental error by not running hard out of the box. He runs hard right away and he scores.Pat Litasch is doing a horrible job at 3rd base this year. Just horrible.

Agree 100%.....and I will say it again....when you hit the ball, even if you know it is going to be foul...FUCKING RUN.

Country mile, city mile, frequent flyer miles, I don't care what kind of mile, he was out by 2 or 3 of them, and that's with a horrible throw up the line.

I agree. Let your run producers drive him in. Hudson hasn't been great against lefties this year.I'd have taken my chances as opposed to Castro being out by a country mile.I don't think LaHair would have gotten anything to hit with a runner on third and two outs.

Fair to wonder how much of the surprisingly awesome pitching is due to defensive upgrades, and better defensive positioning.
I cant remember the last time I seen this many balls smoke by the other team turned into outs because we were in the right spots. I starting to like this Sveum guy.
