Is this realistic?

Angels: Trout,

The Angels are not moving Trout. I don't think the Cubs could put together a realistic package that would lure Trout out of Anaheim.

Heaven's no they can't - nobody in baseball aside from Washington could and that's if the Nats agreed to trade Harper and Strasburg. Trout is considered the best talent in baseball by many scouts.

Don't even mention trout unless your talking the 1980's Cub or the fish. Vernon Wells is exactly the opposite of the type of player Theo is looking for. Trumbo, on the other hand is likely attainable, however I don't know how motivate they'd be to do so. They already hav one of the best 1-3 SPs in baseball. I could see them showing interest in Dempster, but we could forget about getting Trumbo for him.

Could Brett Lawrie and/or Colby Rasmus be part of a Garza to Toronto trade or are they Untouchable to the Jays?

I have a hard time imagining the Jays parting with Lawrie.

I like the idea of the D'backs trade. Pitching will be key to get out there as well with Dodgers and Giants with good staffs pitching lights out by july.

After seeing the Garza for Middlebrooks trade I have been excited about the idea of a top young 3rd basemen to match with Rizzo similiar to A-Ram and Lee a few years ago, and I don't think Ian Stewart is it. So, can Garza get the Cubs any of the following 3rd basemen?

Mike Olt - Rangers
Nick Castellanos - Tigers
Mark Trumbo - Angels
Anthony Rendon - Nationals
Brett Lawrie - Blue Jays
Will Middlebrooks - Red Sox
Matt Dominguez - Marlins
Matt Davidson - D-Backs
Wilmer Flores - Mets
