This week, Josh Hamilton simply Hamilton'd the everJoshing Hamilton out of every Josh darn pitch he saw. Hamilton smacked NINE dingers this week, with like 18 RBI and 11 runs scored. I don't remember the exact score, but they guy I shat on in a 5x5 league could probably tell you about Hamilton's week down to the speed of the pitches he saw.
Carlos Beltran also had a huge week, and is quietly mashing in St Louis. I don't understand why New Yorkers never liked him, cause outside of the uniforms hes donned throughout his career I really like him as a player.
Carlos Zambrano was also good, but before you all shit your pants and trade away CarGo and Strasburg for him, it should be noted that his FIP on the season is like 5. That luck is gonna run out soon, folks. To those in Miami, hide yo catchers, hide yo gatorade coolers, cause Carlos is about to get blown out of the water.
There's a fun trend for those guys mentioned above....they're all owned by Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn. This may be one of the most dominating weeks we see in the rest of this league's future, let alone this year. Those 3 combined for 407 points, or more than 65% of your sorry asses. The rest of his team scored 436.25, which, I'm pretty sure, is more than The Infirmary has put up all year.
As this was a week of non-divisional games, there aren't a whole ton of other story lines. Everything is overshawdowed by the unholy beatdown the Slumpbusters laid upon The Infirmary.

Ok, so, back on track: Fortnightly power rankings, with a new component of "last two weeks points" since that how all the power rankings seem to do it, seeing as the Orioles are #1 in a ton of power rankings (which, like, I know they dont mean jack shit, but really? (Also, to the person who asked about the breakdown thing, it goes like this: its as if you had 23 matchups per week, and it takes your record of that, and the component is just the overall record)
Your fortnightly PowerRankings are calculated like a BCS poll. The four "ballots" are rankings of overall record, overall points, points in last two weeks, and a rank of your record if you played everyteam everyweek. They are here to inspire hatred and contempt of your fellow man. Remember, nothing will ever be as important as where you rank in this poll.
