Grrrr. Where do the Cubs rank in MLB in GIDPs? We have to be pretty high.

I agree. It seems like its been a really bad week for that. I think this week alone we have hit into about 7 or 8 of them


FYI... Before today's games, Cubs had 35 GIDPs, "good" for 3rd most in the MLB, 1st in NL... 1st in MLB is 41, by the DOHrioles....


This is the most depressing statistic I've heard all year. Especially knowing how infrequently this team hits HRs. That's tough sledding on offense.

Not having CSN in Pennsylvania doesn't make me feel terrible about being at work and missing the Cubbies game... Let's go Cubbies, let's get about 5-6 runs this inning.

Throw in the number of walks from the pitching staff and you have a good glimpse into why the Cubs are not winning more games...
