yeah I liked Barney last year more than lots of folks did but now not so much

Castillo looks better so far behind the plate.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that he is catching a soft tosser and not a Garza. It just looked like Garza's fastballs were blowing him away

Garza's curves in the dirt made him look silly.


he had a hard time with fastballs in the strike zone!!!!!

Garza threw one in the strike zone? Didn't notice.

yeah I liked Barney last year more than lots of folks did but now not so much


his WAR surprised me from last year. not surprisingly Theriots was better in 07&08 not that he was the next Ryno

Kid has great range in the field, just needs to hit. He;s definitely not the current mold of beast slugging 2nd basemen ala Utley, Uggla, etc

Yeah it definitely wasn't Garza as much as it was terrible framing by Castillo. He walked 5 I think but it probably could have been 2 or 3 at most if Castillo was helping him out.

Crappyest game I ever seen him pitch. Don't get me wrong I am a Garza fan. He just didnt have it that last outing.
