even if i felt like putting $119 into mlb.tv i couldnt watch todays game, that said according to gamecast is looks like Maholm is getting squeezed

i don't really think so. he's not been around the zone a ton.

How's Castillo calling? Is maholm just not sharp? Hard to tell from left field bleachers.
Go cubs

Maholm is not good today.

I cannot lie, Castro's defense has seriously been VERY good in the last 3 weeks.

Soriano strikes out on a slider. I am stunned to my core.

At least he seemed mad about it. He cares more than he used to.

Wow!! Loshe is just absolutely mowing them down right now. They look terrible against him 2nd time through. They haven't hit one ball hard really

I wonder how many times Campana could run around the bases before Soto or Castillo makes it to second.

Barney (not too surprising) and Castro (wait. . . what?) both have the highest dWAR (0.9) according to Baseball-Reference. B-R uses a different fielding metric (whic they are really high on) instead of UZR, which is being used at FanGraphs. They are turning into quite the exciting double-play tandem.

Seems bad but it still can be a quality start

i like Nolan Ryan even more now that he also does not consider 6ip 3 er a quality start. this stat was created by agents in the steroid era

If I was manager, I would kneecap the son of a bitch with a ball bat everytime he swings at one.
