The Cubs catch a break today, not facing Vance Worley. Instead they get Kyle Kendrick - with Garza on the mound (and Volstad/Halladay going tomorrow), they gotta pull this one out.

It's Social Media Night at the park! ... which I'm still not entirely sure what that means. We'll see, because I'll be there.

Enjoy! I hope the game is enjoyable, as well. Now, if the batters can give Garza some run support, and Garza can avoid walks while holding the score low (preferably below 1!) .....

hahahahahahaha omg Volstad vs. Halladay tomorrow. I didn't realize that. I need to find something to do tomorrow instead of watching that game.

Volstad will probably do something stupid, like throw a 2-hit shutout, to frustrate the "what to do with Volstad" debate.

Yeah. What a dick. =-)

It was the 2007 Play "In" game that I learned there's a reason they play the game.
"Peavy vs. Fogg? Are you kidding me? Why even bother to play the game?"

"Oh. That's why."

Be nice to have that whole thing going on tomorrow night.

Who cares? Dale will just find another way to poorly manage the game and cost the team another game.

Indeed. I can think of many worse reasons to hate Chris Volstad.

I still can't understand how no one has taught Garza how to throw a ball to first. We're going to get killed on that this year if he doesn't correct that.
