Cubs Fact:

On April 20, 1946, Chicago aired its first baseball game on television WBKB when the Cubs lost to the Cardinals, 2-0.

Fact #1, Cubs last appearance in World Series = 1945.

Fact #2, Cubs begin TV broadcasts at start of 1946 season.

Conclusion - TV killed the Cubs.
