sad, the Cubs heart o' the order folds like a house of cards against humber

another disgusting stat, 59 pitches for Humber thru 6 SMH

well everyone is swinging at the first pitch right now. Nobody is working him.

Does Samardzija come out and go over 100 pitches in the 8th? or do the Cubs officially wave the white flag and bring in a reliever....gulp maybe even Kerry Wood

As I recall this happened yesterday with Hallady as well. Why isn't our high paid batting coach being held accountable?

First pitch swinging by Castillo. I am so sick of the Cubs approach at the plate.

Good thing Stewart didn't get pushed off the bag.

Barny hitting .375 last 7 games, 2 doubles and a triple. Maybe we ought to hit him 3rd (being sarcastic).

Was it a good move to hold Stewart at 3rd? I'm listening on the radio and couldn't get a sense if it was the right call.

Umps are a great example of why unions suck. Can't fire or impose stiff penalties for being shitty at your job. My god what a horrible call.

it sounds like you do not watch the news or are aware of the Brett Lawrie situation?

What's that got to do with my comment?

Good point. Maybe the 3rd base ump "learned".....or that "prod" went off.....
