A wasted opportunity. Maybe next time it won't be.

If Paul makes it thru the inning without giving up a run he has a quality start. Why don't I feel good about it.

The only consolation one can have at this point is that the Cubs prove they are a late inning team and can/will come back. A glimpse of that came through yesterday even though it turned out to be a fizzled effort.

The Cubs do good in the later innings because they become more patient, for some reason they dont take that kind of approach for the first 7-8 innings of the game.

Working on the draft. Reacting to adversity.

This team has absolutely no offense. Screw super two. Bring up Rizzo & Jackson and let em learn from the school of hard knocks. Can't be worse.

The late innings have arrived. Will the Cubs offense arrive?

Sveum said Rizzo has done everything there is to do at AAA. That signals we may see Rizzo sooner than later, though I fear it will be a short stint ---like for games against AL teams--. They have to figure out what to do with LaHair and Soriano. About Jackson---I don't know. But I agree with you that better they be up here to learn rather than dowm there. Nothing risked nothing gained.
