God I hope we can bring runner's across the plate today. This is just getting embaressing after an ok first month with series wins vs the Doyers, Braves and Cards.

Couldn't watch the last two games, but am here for this one-----which I will say, WILL be a WIN to end this stupid losing. Whatever makes the guys bats come alive tonight, I hope Sveum or his cohorts will be taking notes, videos or whatever, as the players will need to go to them for getting it engrained into their skulls.

I really like the Pirate's ball park. Architecturally, it exploits and compliments it's setting. For those wanting a jumbotron at Wrigley, it could never be what it is,and what it does for PNC. God willing I intend to take in a game there. Naturally, I'll try to make that happen when the Cubs are there.

I can't see the game, they've got Cards on instead. On gameday it said that Alvarez got the final out of the 3rd by throwing home instead of to 1st to get Castro. Why? Was it a crazy play?

Swing bunt to third,Castro would have made 1st. Third baseman throws home, Maholm out at plate.

So far 58 pitches, 28 balls.

That is not good for Maholm. It seems like he is not getting low strikes called according to gameday. If so that might be why he is going up a little to try to get some more strikes.

Mahlom location is terrible. You leave everything up he is very hittable.
