Man, the Pirates really give lie to the notion that pitching + fielding is the key to winning. This is a really tough team against which to score runs: but they still lose most of the time.

Nice job by Cardenas jumping on that first pitch for a double and advancing on the throw, too bad Lalli was out by a few feet at the plate. I would like to see a good ol fashion plowing of the catcher at home plate one of these days, but I think we are not going to see those anymore after the Posey injury.

When a pitcher throws hard breaking pitches for strikes, well, you are pretty much boned....
