Has anyone noticed our team has not scored a single run?

I wonder what the threshold of tolerance for losing is for Theo&Co?

Yes and I am sure they are working the phones right now.

Meh. I don't think they have much of a tolerance for losing at all. But they won't make any drastic moves just cause the team is scuffling. This was expected.

"Cheaper By the Dozen".......losses, that is. A new Cubs mantra?

This cannot be allowed to stand. There are young players on the team whose confidence can be undermined in ways one will find hard to heal. Losing is a habit that cannot not be completely undone. It's like that old fashion flypaper. It sticks and unmercifully so. 10 to zero. The stickiness is worsening. The staying power of losing is deepening. H---E--L--P!!!

May not see a whole lot of improvement. Might move Demp trade ahead of schedule.

I realize that it "was expected." But living in the moment is what counts here. One lives under the devil in control, not the promise one is hoping for.

Sure hope not. Hope is the only thing I have for this team right now.

Pirate pitcher challenged Johnson with what Reed likes best, the fast ball-----and won. Reed got good wood on that last fast ball thrown, but it wasn't enough today.

So is it okay if I just pretend I'm a Rangers fan for a while? Life would be so much easier...

Even a big log gets whittled away eventually.

Lalli at first. Soriano out. Blake in to pitch. Sveum is taking the bull by the horn. He's seen enough.
