Cubs Fact:

Cubs pitcher Carlos Marmol paced all pitchers in hit batsmen during 2009 Spring Training with five in 10 1/3 innings.

And yet people are still surprised that he has gotten so bad so fast.

it took teams a year and a half to figure it out...but it is impossible for him to throw three strikes before he throws for balls

I had that figured out back when he was "unhittable". I'm very surprised it took the league so long to catch on.

Teams should really pay fans of the team they are about to play to be the real "advance scouts."

I kid, but actually ... don't we know the Cubs and their tendencies as well as anybody?

True, but I think they know I would lie like a cheap rug!

"Marmol is always around the plate, swing early and often."
"Castro is very patient hitter, so you'll want to throw fastballs right down the middle."
"Soriano never chases sliders low and away, so don't even try it."
"Campana never bunts, and is a dead-pull hitter, so play the infield back and shifted."
Please don't feed the psychos.
