This is the worst offense on a Cubs team that I can remember.

Cubbies offense is so bad the lineup hardly matters. I would take LaHair in a slump over 8 of these guys. I don't want Baker hurt, but without Bryan's bat I just don't think we're going to score.

Why not let random fans take swings instead of Baker/Johnson/Hill? It can't get much uglier.
I have always been a fan of minor league baseball because of the promotions: they don't seem to take themselves too seriously, no matter which team I'm watching or rooting for. So when I was 10, and got my first jersey (Sandberg) I've had this idea: if you wear the home team's jersey into a ballpark, there should be a drawing where you can win a free AB. In my head I imagined it could be between innings, where a guy in the stands takes some hacks. (And I would jack the SHIT out of it if I got picked, you better believe it).
But with this offense, I would absolutely watch a random Wrigley faithful at the plate. At least then I won't watch with the same level of expectation and hope I do now...*sigh*

It may increase attendance too.
