We're just under an hour and a half away from the start of the festivities. The Cubs will pick three time before the night is over, and all three picks are guaranteed to be massively over hyped by Cub fans everywhere.
Since I'm picking them, you know these guys won't be the Cubs' picks.
#6 - Albert Almora. They'd take Correa if he's on the board, but he'll be gone.
#43 - Alex Wood. Good college left handed starter. Sounds like a fit to me. High school lefty Hunter Virant is my next choice.
#56 - Duane Underwood. Another high school pitcher, Underwood is raw but has some potential.
I'd love to see Matt Smoral slide to #43, but that's pretty unlikely.

I think Team Epstein is pretty good at letting media run away with a common notion if it helps cover the team's real intentions.

Also, I loved any kind of food with "Fried" in the title, description, or cooking process, so that may be what's going on here.
And I did just have a corn dog (because they're awesome).
