Cody Parkey is having a historically bad day, so Mitch Trubisky, Allen Robinson, and took it into their own hands to put points on the board.
All the Bears needed was a two-play, 50-yard drive to get things going in the right direction. Trubisky connected on a 24-yard strike with Burton, then followed with a 26-yard touchdown toss to Robinson to extend the Bears’ lead to 34-10. Here is the catch and run from Robinson, who’s having his best game as a member of the Bears:
5 catches.
125 yards.

And because six points wasn’t going to be enough, the Bears went for two … and made it!

It was Chicago’s first score of the second half and a welcome change to the sound of two ringing goal posts on missed field goal attempts in the third quarter. The Bears hadn’t really struggled to move the ball in the game until the third quarter. But maybe going back to the things that worked early will allow the Bears to get back on the right track.
