Sorry, I'm late. Kickball.

get a W?

Fucking tie. We were up 3-1 in the last inning, gave up two. Probably shouldn't have let Marmol close.

I wish Stewart was playing like he is in my season of the Show. He is leading the league in 2/3 triple crown catagories and is only AB shy of the 3rd (leading in HR and RBI and needs like another week to get up to the right number of AB to lead in Averages. Right now Dejesus leads that catagory).

This just poped up on twitter.

I can't root against Prior. I had such hopes for him. I remember watching him strike out 14 players and hit a HR against the Chattanooga Lookouts in AA ball. It was like watching Hercules play with ten-year-olds. He was in Chicago shortly after that and the rest was...a helluva rollercoaster ride.

Kind of ironic he out lasted Wood in pro ball. At 31 when do you just give up and retire.

fair enough but why keep him on the roster at this point. he has no value, hell develop no value, he loses games. not that the cubs were going to score 5 tonight in the 9th but theyre sure as fuck not going to score 8. he was amazing for a few months several years ago, it was the exception, not the rule. cut his big ass loose. id rather see a 20 something year old prospect making a few hundred thousand fail miserably than an older millionare fail miserably.
