For all you stats guys out there, is there a stat that tracks the efficiency of a team driving in a runner on third with fewer than 2 outs? I'm convinced the Cubs are under .100 in those situations. It starts to get infuriating. Drive the freaking ball!

I wish Castro wouldn't have lunged at that last pitch, and especially turning on it. A weak ass grounder to 3rd......and no rbi. shit.

It sounded shallow on the radio, Keith said that Garza would have been tagged if he had gone. He faked toward home but didn't go.

lemme guess, that ball castro hit to 3rd would have been ball 3 if he kept his bat on his shoulder?

It was and allowed Aoki to make a damn good throw home (one waist high bounce).

Pretty good pitch from Wolf. But would of been in the dirt.

Garza has great location with a good curve. At 42 after 3.

Same old same old Garza 14 pitch count 1st.

Let's see if we can get 7 out of Garza today.

Hey, I'll take 7 IP on 98 pitches!

Wow, depressing number for the Cubs from Pat Hughes: Cubs have 30 games this year where they have scored 3 runs or fewer. In those 30 games, they are 4 and 26. So depressing.

It was pretty shallow and Aoki threw a perfect strike to home. Garza would have been meat.

On track for 108 thru 7. Maholm was running the same numbers last night. Just the Cub fan in me. Would like to see Garza go 8. Just don't trust the pen when they can't score runs.

Does "Aoki" mean "thorn-in-the-side"? cuz that's what he's been.
