"entirely inappropriate way" was exactly what I thought when we saw that picture in the animal husbandry book.  I still have a t-shit with that pic and the quote "Class 02-02 Not Your Ordinary Goat Fuck" makes me smile every time I see it.

Are there no Cubs fans here who are dog people?

Dog? Yeah, fine, whatever. But only if they're the non-yapping/barking-all-the-time kind.

But cats? Fuck that noise, man.

That is awesome. I just about laughed out loud in class!

"... the oldest ... did actually catch a ... stripper though.

Wow. You folks do things differently in Tennessee, don'cha?

Hey honey, I am taking the boys "fishing" again. By the way , I took all the ones from the cash register, that damn bait man only accepts single dollars, weird.

Guess that is an easy typo...how do you delete browsing history again.

My boys, 6 and almost 3, cleaned out and organized their tackle boxes saturday. I tried getting the oldest to bass fish last summer but when he lost his first real lure on a snag he was devastated. He did actually catch a rock bass and stripper later though. Mostly it is long ears, shell crackers and bluegills.

Also in January 9th news -- and bear with me while we take a ride on the BleacherNation Wayback Machine -- in 2010 it was Bryan LaHair day!

Bryan LaHair is a Chicago Cub

I love, love, love, the first comment on that article. And Ace's response.

I miss Ace, he was so funny.

#5026 Cub Fans and the art of patience.

I don't think that they necessarily have to go in one direction or the other. With some fairly un-movable contracts, and the ability to carry a high payroll, they can try to "win now" while still building other assets. I think that the building of those assets is going to take time and the moves that will be made in the mean time are going to be of the "ho hum" variety, and a lot of fans aren't going to like it. The good thing about that is, you can already tell who the "fairweather" fans are, and you know to take most of what they say with a grain or five of salt, and not get offended when their ignorance tries to drag you down.

I really hate to admit this but, that is one of my fears of winning a WS. The fairweather bandwagoners. I mean I used to like the Red Sox but the fans have become unbearable the last few years. I would hate to see that happen to the Cubs.

Why does everybody hate the guy? All he does is the best he can and gives all the credit to his team. He is unselfish and always gives max effort. I can understand hating the mania, but it seams that hate is at him personally, why?

#130 BEER, BEER, BEER

Posted by Ron on 31 August 2011 - 08:38 PM

All this college talk makes me have to be honest here: I never liked beer until I had my first Guinness, it was like I woke up and realize that beer had real power. Before that I was more of a rotgut whino when I need to drink for cheap... of course that has alot to do with my love of Hemingway and Kerouac- they were whinos

My best Guiness Story,

I was in the Army and stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC going through the Special Forces Medical Coarse, anyway a buddy and I would go to Charlotte, NC almost every weekend to get away from "Joe" and stay with a friend that was a cop. We would drink Guiness until we were almost blind and then get a ride home. The next morning I was feeling pretty rough and went to take a crap (if you have drank enough Guiness you know what this is like). Well my buddy that lived there his girlfriend and 14 year old cat moved in that weekend. I was sitting on the crapper and this cat walks out of his cat box takes two steps and kills over!! I watched this play out in complete disbelief right at my feet. Well I had a decision, wipe or CPR. The cat puked on me then died. So I walk out of the bathroom and I said "Tracey, your cat, well........agh don't go in there!" It was all over but the crying
