Why does Pat Hughes need to take an inning off every game? He sits in a fucking booth and talks, every other professional braodcaster can do it without taking a break. And on top of that why does Keith move from color to play-by-play in his absence? Does anything the Cubs do make sense?

I am hoping Pat doesn't have some random health issue that is going to make me feel like a shithead for posting this.

It can be tough for older guys to do a bathroom break in between innings. I've seen Len and Bob booking it in and out of the booth.

Fair enough

I think the record for most errors committed by a team, in one game is 12. Any chance the Cubs reach that this year?

I love seeing the opposing team's pitcher bat in the first inning. It makes them exert extra energy.

The new regime has seen sabermetrical evidence that proves this theory true. Over the coarse of a full season we should can expect an extra 3-4 runs a game when the opposing pitcher bats in the first inning.

It's only the the top of the first and the fundamental mistakes are already approaching double digits. Same old bushleague bullshit
