#50642 J.R. Murphy for Sori Trade Idea

I would feel good getting him.  Just curious if the Yanks would even go for that idea.

#48553 Trade Idea that won't be taken well.

This will be fun to see the responses for this...

#47508 "Kris Bryant will play 3B"

I have to admit, Mike Taylor's mind is quite interesting.  The man likes to look at every possible scenario and makes me rethink on some baseball related things.  Good post Mike. :D

No you aren't.  I am on the Gray bandwagon as well. :D

#44603 Giancarlo Stanton (updated)

Posted by calicubsfan007 on 04 May 2013 - 04:48 PM

I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't see Stanton or Price requiring two of Soler, Baez, and Almora.

I think they will only because of the teams who will also be competing for those guys. Texas and St Louis could blow the Cubs away in depth and high-ceiling talent, so to beat them out you'd need to throw two very high-level prospects

I would rather risk Baez over Almora if it came down to the two.  But I like Baez more, the first statement I made here is because of where we have more depth at the higher levels.  But I am not really factoring in the idea of moving Baez to third or second base.

#43813 Tony Campana

In related news, Brent Lillobridge is hitting .455/.520/.682 through 6 games in Iowa. How were we so blind and foolish as to not see what we had?!?!?!? WHYYYY?!?

As a player, what is preferable, hitting .042 in the majors or .455/.520/.682 in AAA?

It depends, what is the player's Overall Belly-Fire Percentage?

.666666666 ;)

#42628 Brian Lahair, real deal?

Posted by calicubsfan007 on 19 April 2013 - 10:40 PM

That sucks that you lost that one.  He was a nice story last year.  Talk about fading fast though.  I really thought LaHair was going to last.

Cubs rule, I attend all his matches. All your base are belong to us.

For starters, I love your new profile pic. And secondly, hopefully this will add to the statement.

#38277 Cubs' Front Office Question

I think that is right Robbo. But what I think is funny is that this is one of the few posts that haven't mentioned any burgers or Lost. Aw crap, that counts, doesn't it? ;)

I was stupid enough to start Lost at season 2, so I had absolutely no idea what the hell was going on. Then, I gave up.
