Chicago Cubs News

I hope you’re enjoying happy holidays, and all that. You’ll note that BN doesn’t go into limited posting over the holidays like some sites, but only because the purveyors of BN (ok, well, it’s just me) is a loser whose sole goal in life is to provide you with breaking Chicago Cubs rumors and news. Goals, children. Have them.

To that end, I’m happy to note that the site celebrating its second birthday, and is now the top Chicago Cubs rumor destination on the Internet. For those of you interested to know about the site you frequent, we now regularly see thousands of visitors every day, and more than 20,000 every week. I look forward to seeing that number grow, as our little corner of the Cublogoverse continues to take off.

To that end (can you use that transition twice in the same post?), you can look forward to some exciting things in the new year. We’ll be introducing an improved site layout (I know, I know, nobody likes change – but the “beta” testing suggests you’ll like the new design), a mobile version of the site, and community features that will allow you to interact in a better way than the current commenting system allows. I won’t over-promise and under-deliver, so I can’t say for sure when these features will arrive; but I can say that it will pretty much be the greatest thing in the history of the universe times two.

And, of course, we’ll continue to bring you the latest Cubs news, rumors, and analysis, as well as the Lukewarm Stove, Enhanced Box Scores, Series Previews and Blackout Cubbetry that you’ve come to love tolerate.
