Pre-Gamin’: Pirates v. Cubs (1:20 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, etc.

wrigley field inside featureIt seems like this keeps happening: the Cubs win the first game of the series, lose the second, and then win the third. So, maybe today will be another series win.

Jason Hammel goes for the Cubs as he tries to continue his hot season. By my math, if Hammel is traded on the same day as Scott Feldman was last year (July 2), this could be his second-to-last start as a Cub. It seems strangely morbid to think about it that way, but that’s the reality. Hopefully he pitches well.

Brandon Cumpton pitched well against the Cubs last time out, so hopefully they’ve got a better idea of what he’ll try to do this time around. Chris Coghlan leads off once again as he keeps earning more and more playing time.
