Kris Bryant is mired in the most protracted slump of his young career – it’s still not brutally bad, but it has been extremely long – and now he’s also got something extra to deal with:
Bryant left shoulder soreness. Won’t play again today

The immediate question is what’s going on with his shoulder and how long has he been dealing with it. This is the first we’re hearing about a physical issue with Bryant, and hopefully it isn’t also a protracted thing.
We’ll update with more when we have it.
UPDATE: It’s a day-to-day thing that he’s felt before, but apparently not for a long time:
Bryant said he's been feeling it in his shoulder for about five days now. He's had this in college and the minors, but never the bigs. A few days rest usually does the trick, so he's day to day right now.
