Cole Hamels Just Crushed a 437-Foot BOMB to Center Field (VIDEO)

Chicago Cubs Highlights

It was only right. Cole Hamels gave up a home run, so he had to get one back.

I mean, the one he gave up was a two-run shot, and he netted only a solo shot, but are you really gonna get nitpicky when the pitcher hits a home run? You take it! It’s awesome!

That thing was absolutely obliterated, by the way. It was 105.0 mph off the bat and travelled 437 feet – 26 feet further than the one he gave up.

A long-time NL pitcher, that was only the second homer of Hamels’ career. You’d think with that kind of power he’d have more. But he’s a career .170/.195/.204 hitter overall, so maybe not. That’s a 2 wRC+. A 2!
