Pre-NLCS-Gamin’: Dodgers at Brewers (7:09 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Tears, Game Thread

Chicago Cubs News

Tonight. It’s going to happen. Finally. It has to. It’s GOT to. The Brewers lack of starting pitching MUST be exploited at some point before the end of the season, because I cannot handle their undefeated ways anymore. I mean, at some point, it has to come to an end, right? Or their bullpen has to get worn down, right?

I think the fact that I’m asking these questions, and not asserting these facts, tells me all I need to know about how I truly feel.

But hopefully it won’t matter. All we need is for Clayton Kershaw to be Clayton Kershaw tonight and shut the Brewers down. After all, Milwaukee is riding an ELEVEN-GAME winning streak, dating back to September 23rd, and that, too, must come to an end sooner or later. Why not tonight?

The Brewers swept their NLDS against the Rockies, the Dodgers needed four games to get it done and return to the NLCS for the third straight season.

Now that we’ve been deprived of a third-straight Cubs/Dodgers NLCS matchup, the least they can do is sweep the Brewers out of the postseason … or better yet, take it to Game 7, burn up some of those bullpen arms, and then lose in glorious fashion. Yeah, I think I like that better. And no, I don’t think I’m being salty at all, why do you ask?

Sigh … GO DODGERS.
