Sunday’s Rainout Against the Angels Will Be Made Up on June 3rd (3:05 CT)

Chicago Cubs News

Yesterday’s matchup between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, California, United States, Earth, Solar System, Universe C-135 was washed out – possibly to the Cubs benefit.

And now we know when it’ll be made up:

The Cubs and Angels will reconvene on Monday June 3rd, at 3:05pm CT.

The Cubs were previously scheduled to have the day off, but they’re fortunate in the timing. The series before that off-day is just down the road in St. Louis and the very next day is the start of a six-game home stand at Wrigley Field. In terms of a rescheduled contest, that’s about as much of a good outcome as you can hope.

Obviously, it’s not all good news …

But again, when a game needs to be made up, there are only so many options – especially with a West Coast, American League team you face one every three years or so.

And, hey, we might get a chance to see Mike Trout at Wrigley Field this time – and without Tyler Chatwood on the mound or snow falling down, to boot.
