Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is fantastically talented, but he’s often in the news for reasons not entirely tied to his baseball ability. Sometimes, those reasons are not-so-fun, but other times they’re light, entertaining fare. Like his love for helicopters, for example:

That’s why, when I see stories about Puig buying a helicopter to avoid Los Angeles traffic this year, I think, “Yeah, sure, sounds about right.”
Seriously, that’s something Puig was going to try and make happen. But unfortunately, according to Andy McCullough, federal laws prohibit Puig from landing his helicopter at Dodger Stadium to make better time. Puig apparently says he’s still going to do it, though we’re all pretty sure he’s joking. Probably.
So, if not by helicopter, how else can Puig get to games this year? Sure, there are car options and public transportation options, but those are so boring.
Maybe a hot air balloon?
What about a well-trained set of carrier pigeons?
Some fashionable roller blades? He could bring them back, you know.
Nope. I’ve got it. Puig will study up on quantum mechanics with Diamondbacks pitcher Josh Collmenter and perfect teleportation. I can only hope he shares the secret with all of us.
