WATCH: ARod’s Spring Debut Features One Swing, One Homer

Alex Rodriguez has had his share of ups and downs in recent years, and I’m not here to make an apologies for him. After a season-long PED suspension in 2014, ARod returned in 2015 to hit .250/.356/.486 with 33 homers. Clearly, there’s still some life in the bat of the now 40-year-old.

And he showed it off today on the first swing of his first Spring game:
