Mike Trout Rocks First Spring Homer, Kids Go Crazy for the Ball (VIDEOS)

Baseball Is Fun

Subject to some legitimate debates about Bryce Harper (or Royce Harper, if you prefer), Mike Trout may well be the best baseball player on the planet. The 24-year-old (yes, he’s still just 24) has hit a cool .304/.397/.559 for his career, and is the guy to watch every time he steps on the field.

To that end, how about Trout mashing his first homer of the Spring:

Not only was that a great shot, it got the young fans excited – very excited – to try and get that ball:

Good thing it was just a Spring Training game, otherwise you might’ve had some 35-year-old a-hole jumping in there and throwing kids around to get the ball in the regular season.

It’s me. I’m the a-hole.

(Nah, I wouldn’t really do that.)

(Or would I?)

(I wouldn’t.)

(Probably.)
