When you think “outfielder” and “Rays” and “incredible homer-robbing catch,” you think of Gold Glover, Kevin Kiermaier. Not only is he the reigning Gold Glove winner in the AL, and not only did he have one of the best defensive seasons ever in 2015, but he also routinely does the spectacular.
But this “Rays” “outfielder” who makes an “incredible homer-robbing catch” is not Kevin Kiermaier.
It’s Jaff Decker:

Great, great catch. And I don’t want to take anything away from it, but it’s only fair to point out that the wall there in the Spring Training game was not quite as high as the typical wall Kiermaier scales. But Decker was going back hard, and really slammed into that wall. High or not, it’s impressive.
The other thing I have to point out in fairness … look at the poor kid just behind the wall:
He wants that ball. Heck, he probably deserves that ball.
But he’s not going to get that ball. JAAAAAAAFFFFFF!!!!!
