Starlin Castro and Didi Gregorius Re-Enact a Scene from ‘Step Brothers’ (VIDEO)
The New York Yankees imported a new middle infielder this year, Starlin Castro from the Chicago Cubs, so he’s kinda now like a step brother joining shortstop Didi Gregorius. Or something like that.
And, cleverly, the Yankees have used that reference for promotional purposes, having Castro and Gregorius re-enact a classic scene from the Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly movie, ‘Step Brothers’:
Gregorius has some skills! Castro plays the straight man well enough, if you compare it to the original scene (note the, um, required changes to the dialogue in the Yankees version):
