Corey Dickerson Destroys Ball, Then Chris Archer’s Forearm

Baseball Is Fun

Tampa Bay Rays slugger Corey Dickerson is a powerful dude, and it’s not because he used to hit in Coors Field all the time. The guy hit a ball that ultimately traveled 569 feet in Spring Training!

So, yeah. He’s strong.

No one should be surprised that he destroyed a ball last night:

Sure enough, according to Home Run Tracker, Dickerson’s blast went 453 feet, the longest homer of the short season so far.

So, again: we know that Dickerson is really strong. But does Dickerson know he’s really strong? I’m not so sure he fully appreciates his power after seeing this post-game video:

Careful with the merchandise, bro! That’s a (multi-)million dollar arm there attached to Chris Archer, and I’m sure the Rays would like to see it stay attached!
