Yahoo’s Big League Stew blog got an early look at this year’s All-Star Game attire for the events in San Diego, and the Home Run Derby looks in particular are extremely bold and old school:

My immediate reaction is that I love the Padres cap, because it looks like an awesome throw-back/nod to the San Diego look of old. I dig the jerseys, too.
The other team caps, though … they just look out of place. Obviously I get what they were going for, and they did pull of the retro Padre look. It just doesn’t work for me. I think the colors and the idea land, but the font on the team names doesn’t quite work.
