Come On, Is There a Hole in Your Glove?! Oh … There Is

Baseball Is Fun

Josh Donaldson is a good baseball player, maybe even one of the best ones playing right now. But lately, he’s just been making way too many excuses.

For example, in Thursday’s matchup against Baltimore, Orioles left fielder Joey Rickard sent a screaming line drive directly at Donaldson who completely whiffed and screwed up the play!

Check it out:

Yeah, sure Josh. It went “through your glove.” Just man up and take responsibility.

I kid, of course, because holy crap that ball really went right through his mitt. That’s just bad luck. According to Statcast, that line drive left the bat at 91 MPH. Donaldson’s glove was not available for comment after the game.

But don’t worry, Josh, I got your back: here’s a glove repair kit. Get to work.
