Think you had a good night last night? Think again, because Tuesday night belonged to Justin Smoak. (You can’t have it. It’s his. It’s gone.)
Although he hadn’t hit a single home run all season, Smoak hit two yesterday at … pretty opportune moments:
So, heading into the bottom of the 9th inning, the Blue Jays were down 1-0 when Smoak hit the game-tier out to left center field. Then, when he came up the very next time, in the bottom of the 10th, Smoak drilled one out to left field to end the game.
Now that’s how you hit your first two homers of the year.
