Nolan Arenado Steals the Double Play Glory

Baseball Is Fun

I’ve heard the adage “Winners always want the ball,” but rarely does that apply to baseball. That said, Nolan Arenado is apparently a “winner,” because he stole a double play ball from teammate and rookie Trevor Story … and it’s pretty darn funny:

Story was already covering the bag and Mark Reynolds was clearly making the throw to him, but Arenado (the overly-shifted third baseman) comes out of nowhere at the last minute with the interception.

Hey, at least he made the play.
