Coco Crisp Robs Ji-Man Choi of Would-Be Third Homer

Baseball Is Fun

By the bottom of the fifth inning Thursday, Angels left-fielder Ji-Man Choi had already hit two home runs, collecting four RBI in the process. So when he stepped up to the plate in a tie game with two outs in the bottom of the fifth, expectations were probably a bit too high.

But then, on the 3-1 pitch, Choi sent a liner screaming down the left field line with just enough lift. It was up, it had a chance and IT. WAS … caught by Coco Crisp. Woof.
