Apparently it’s Chicago Day at Baseball is Fun today, because already we watched as Travis Wood proved his rugged manliness (Cubs), Adam Eaton blew a bubble as he hit a game-winning home run (White Sox), and some Cub fans proved their loyalty with some novelty haircuts (Cubs).
Now, to even it out, we’ll head back to the South Side and watch as Chris Sale inadvertently reminds us of his little locker room throw-back jersey slash-fest, by playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with a young fan:
Scissors … really, Chris?
Okay, obviously this is just a fun, light-hearted way to connect with the fans, but I couldn’t resists the connection. This, my friends, is what you call low-hanging fruit – and I still love every bit of it.
