One of the most memorable moments from the 2016 MLB season so far, has easily been the … eh hem … altercation between Rougned Odor and Jose Bautista from mid-May. If you recall, Odor clocked Bautista in the face, after Bautista slid late into the bag at second.

Hoping to avoid a similar fate, then, Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis made sure to stay out of Odor’s way, after Odor slid similarly late into the bag (smiling all the while):
