Every year, various Major Leauge teams pick random days throughout the schedule to have promotional events. Star Wars, the 1970s, and white-outs are just some examples of these sorts of events, and the White Sox even did a bring-your-dog-to-the-ballpark day last year. Seriously.
One of the most common and universally beloved events, however, is the bobblehead give-a-way.
The Kansas City Royals, for one example, have one of those scheduled right at the beginning of the year, April 28:

But instead of celebrating one of their numerous former or current superstars, the April 28th bobblehead will be of none other than first-base coach Rusty Kuntz (if I didn’t know better, I’d swear I was being pranked by Bart Simpson).
Apparently, the Kansas City faithful are quite fond of Coach Kuntz, and his ability to bring out the best in his players.
But even with all of that said … this video of the bobbleheads arriving is still quite strange … even if I kind of love it:

So, I guess you should head out to the ballpark on April 28 to watch the Twins take on the Royals and receive your very own, motivational, slightly strange, Rusty Kuntz bobble head!
